🎤 Voice Acting Commission Guidelines

💼 Agreement to Terms

By commissioning me for any voice acting work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to follow all the guidelines listed on this page. These guidelines are designed to ensure a smooth, professional, and fun working experience for both of us 🎙️✨
Commissioning me automatically means you accept these terms — so please review everything carefully before proceeding!

1. What I Offer

  • 🎭 Character voices (cartoony, dramatic, comedic, whatever vibe you need)
  • 📖 Narration & announcements
  • 🎮 Game/project lines, skits, or fun shorts

2. What I Need From You

  • 📝 A script (or at least bullet points of what you want said)
  • 🎶 Notes on tone/energy/emotion (examples are super helpful)
  • 📢 Tell me what the voice work will be used for (game, video, project, etc.)

3. Deadlines / Scheduling

  • ⏰ Advance notice depends on script length:
    • 0–500 words → flexible, give me a heads-up
    • 501–1000 words → at least 3 days notice
    • Every additional 500 words → add 3 more days
  • 🔄 This does not include revisions, so add extra time if you think you’ll request changes.
  • ⚠️ I will not overwork or stress myself to meet unrealistic deadlines. Please be flexible.
  • 🫂 Remember, I’m human — things may come up that are completely out of my control.

4. Communication

  • 📧 All project communication (unless it’s group recordings) will be via email: va@awesomeaaron26.com
  • 💬 For group projects/recordings, communication will be via Discord: awesomeaaron26
  • 🚫 I will not use any other platforms for project communication.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • 💵 Pricing is completely at your discretion.
  • 🎁 I’ll happily do work for free as long as I’m properly credited.
  • ❤️ Payment isn’t required, but it’s always appreciated — it helps support my work!
  • 💳 If a project is paid, it must be paid in full upfront via PayPal before I start.

6. Refund Policy

  • 📝 Refunds are at my discretion and will depend on the specific circumstances of the project.
  • 💸 Refunds will only be considered before any revisions are requested.
  • 🚫 Once revisions are asked for, no refunds will be issued.
  • 📖 If a script is over 1000 words, refunds are only available if less than half of the script has been recorded.

7. Revisions

  • 🔁 I’ll happily revise lines until they’re perfect for your project.
  • ⏱️ If revisions are excessive (over 5 rounds), I may choose to cancel the project to keep things fair.

8. What I Won’t Do

  • 🚫 NSFW/18+ content
  • 🚫 Hateful/offensive material
  • 🚫 Anything I’m not comfortable with

9. Recording Format / Style

  • 🎬 Recordings will be split into acts/scenes if applicable.
  • 📝 Each recording will contain a line, followed by a short pause, continuing until the full scene/act is read.
  • 🎭 After the initial read, lines will be performed again in different tones/inflections to give you variety and options.

10. Delivery / File Format

  • 📂 All audio files will be delivered as .mp3
  • 🎧 Audio will be clean and free of background noise
  • 💌 Files will be uploaded to a Google Drive folder created specifically for your project, which I will share with you

11. Usage Rights

  • 🔒 My voice work cannot be used to train AI voice models.
  • 📢 My voice work cannot be used for projects not disclosed to me — always tell me what you’re using it for.
  • 🤝 If you’d like to repurpose my recordings for something new, please ask first.

12. Client Responsibilities

  • 📢 Maintain constant, respectful, communication throughout the project.
  • 📝 Provide error-free scripts — major typos or unclear lines may require clarification.

13. Right to Refuse

  • 🚫 I reserve the right to decline any project that I’m not comfortable with.
  • 🚫 I reserve the right to cancel any project at any time if these guidelines are violated.

All 4 of these must be credited in at least one of the credits of your project. This is NOT optional as credit helps me get more roles in the future!
